The Kingdom in you.

I've been thinking a lot of God being our sanctuary, and us/me being His dwelling place... His temple.

Some words from a song I just heard..."You're in my heart, You're in my soul, You are my heaven, You are my home" - by The Afters

This is from a new paraphrase pulled off of bishop Jim Swilley's blog www.bloginthenow.blogspot.com.

Luke 17:
20. On another occasion, the Pharisees asked Jesus when the Kingdom of God would come. He replied, "The Kingdom of God does not come with your careful observation...with setting dates...or counting the days on the calendar...in fact, you can't even see it with the physical eye.

21. And no one can ever say, 'Here it is,' or 'There it is,' because the Kingdom of God is within human hearts and minds...why, it's even within you Pharisees!

Look Deeper!

Accidents, flukes or coincidences today may just be the hand of God ordering the events of your life to bring about His purposes. Look deeper.

I pray today that we may recognize the people who have been supernaturally connected to us for Kingdom reasons.

Expect to hear from God in some way today.

May signs and wonders be performed through you today! Be miracle-minded.

All Come!

From Luke 14
13. ...when you give a banquet, invite the poor and the disenfranchised...invite the crippled and the helpless...invite the lame...invite the blind;

14. If you do that you will be fully blessed. And although these people can't repay you, you will be repaid in the bigger picture with resurrection life and the benefits of righteousness."

15. When one of the guests at the table heard Him say this, he blurted out, "How blessed are those who will eat at the celebration feast in the Kingdom of God!"

16. This prompted Jesus to expound some more on the subject. He said, "There was a certain man who prepared an extravagant banquet, and invited many guests to it.

17. When it was time for the banquet to commence, he sent his personal servant to tell those who had been invited, 'Come now...the table is set...everything is ready.'

18. But each of the invited guests that he approached began to make ridiculous excuses. The first one to whom he spoke said, 'You know what? I've just bought a field, and I have to go right now and see it. Please send my regrets.'

19. The next one said, 'Listen, I've just bought five yoke of oxen, and I'm on my way, even as we speak, to try them out. Thanks, anyway.'

20. Still another said, 'Hey, I just got married, so I obviously can't come.'

21. So the servant came back and reported all of this to his employer. Then the owner of the house felt insulted, and became incensed. So he ordered his servant, 'Go out immediately into the streets and back-alleys of the city, and bring in the poor, the crippled, the blind, and the lame.'

22. In a short while the servant responded, 'Sir, what you've ordered has been done, but there is still room at your table.'

23. Undaunted, the host told his servant, 'All right then...go out to the dirt roads and country lanes, and compel the rest of them to come in...drag them in if you have to...I want my house to be full!'"

24. Then Jesus said, "I tell you the truth...not one of those who were privileged to be originally invited to My feast will get so much as a taste of the food at My Kingdom-banquet."

Ya' know, I still have the word 'embrace' floating around in my mind, not sure all the reasons, but I'm seeking to embrace more of God and His Kingdom in me and His Spirit. My prayer is that you seek, find, enter and live joyfully in His Kingdom and wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him today!

Waiting to be Revealed!

For the creation eagerly waits with anticipation for God's sons to be revealed. Romans 8:19

I feel like my flesh is groaning, waiting for a son of God to be revealed...I'm pushin', I'm breathin', I'm screamin', my veins are poppin' out, and I feel like slappin' somebody!..you see anything yet!?...ok, ok, I'll wait for the next contraction, but I think I need another epidurel.

In the same way the Spirit also joins to help in our weakness, because we do not know what to pray for as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with unspoken groanings. Rom. 8:26

It's a comfort knowing that when you don't know what in the world to pray or feel or do, the Holy Spirit intercedes for you, and so does Christ, and HIS prayers are always according to the will of God.(v.27)

All things will work together for your good today, He promises! Peace! - Karl

Kingdom First, then the rest.

I think repetition is good so I put more here about seeking the kingdom first, however, this passage comes from a very recent paraphrase of bishop Jim Swilley, as he is currently writing Luke In The Now. You can read more at http://www.bloginthenow.blogspot.com/

This is from Luke 12:
31. But seek out and search for a revelation of His Kingdom in and through every circumstance, and in every situation. When you prioritize the Kingdom in this way, then you can be sure that everything in your personal world will come into order, and that all you need for your daily provision will just automatically flow into your life, and will be added to you as a result of your quest.

32. Don't be afraid of anything, little flock, because it pleases your Father to no end to give you the abundance of the Kingdom.

33. When you can, sell some of your possessions and give the money to the poor. Create a spiritual bank for yourselves that will not ever be emptied...treasures in the heavenly dimension that will never be devalued...a secure place that no bank robber can penetrate, and no pest can destroy.

34. The bottom line is this...where your treasure is, there your affections and thoughts will be, also."
-------
Now from me...
May you see and comprehend the kingdom today that is already shining into the darkness.
Life was in Him, and that life was the light of men.- from John 1:4,5

I pray that God reveals secret, and intimate things to you today...that you are given wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him. May you walk in godly insight, perception and discernment.

I say with the authority that the Holy Spirit gives me as a believer, that you walk in a release from every anxiety and agitation that may depress you...and that you understand those things that are really happening to you from "seeing the big picture."

I love you...God bless you!

EMBRACE!

I've been hearing and seeing the word "embrace", a lot, with what I believe as confirmations to me this week. Following is a snippet of that;

Luke 8 Verse 17:
When the light is EMBRACED, there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed...nothing concealed that will not be revealed.

EMBRACING the light(God) is like when a husband and wife "EMBRACE", they are also embracing the reality that nothing is hidden or concealed, and they enjoy it, it is exciting, right?
...so when we embrace God(who is Light), let us enjoy the openness, the radiant light that reveals all.
I believe this Light reveals more of the hidden and concealed things OF GOD, as well as the GOOD hidden/concealed things of us or in us that He has already put there, we just haven't seen it yet.
Embrace light!..embrace God, you'll see more revelation of Him as well as the wonderful things He has already put in you...be excited about it.

EMBRACE His word (seed)v:11, and not your worries v.14

As life is conceived and held onto on the wall of the womb, enduring, it will bear "fruit" into the earth...so too, receive the seed (word of God to you) in the good ground of your heart, hold on to it in your mind and it will mature and also bear "fruit" into the earth. (see Luke 8:15)

It is your Father's desire that you bear "much" fruit today and He works with you to do just that.
May fruit be born today in your life that has already been growing and maturing, fed, and led by the Holy Spirit.

-----
You are my desire, no one else will do
No one else can take Your place, To feel the warmth of your embrace.
-----
I love this lyric snippet from Toby Mac's song "Made To Love"...
I'm reachin out, reachin up, reachin over
I feel a breeze cover me called Jehovah
And daddy I'm on my way
Cause I was made to love...

I was made to love you
I was made to find you
I was made just for you
Made to adore you
I was made to love
And be loved by you
You were here before me
You were waiting on me
And you said you'd keep me
Never would you leave me
I was made to love and be loved by you
-----
Today I will accept and embrace, without religious prejudice, the humanity of Jesus as being equal with His divinity . . . the mystery of the knowledge that the Son of Man was, and is, the (firstborn) Son of God, and that the (firstborn) Son of God was, and is, the Son of Man – 100% God – 100% man – the amazing Christ!
(from A Year In The Now, Bishop Jim Swilley)
